Black Park

Absolutely Brilliant day at Black Park with partner, friends and 11 children. It's always very busy at the weekends and the Half-Term holidays, but I think that adds to the excitement for the children. Usually we take a picnic to keep costs down but we chose to eat first at the cafe after walking round the lake and feeding the ducks. EVERYBODYS food was amazing. I had a Prawn Jacket potato, That was delicious, but most adults had burgers and said they was amazing! The kids equally loved the kids meals, and the food came out very quickly. As soon as we had eaten, The cafe became VERY busy so is a good option 2 eat first before play. Then onto the adventure park for a few hours which is well equipped with apparatus for children of all ages, then a LOVELY stroll back round the beautiful lake, back to the Car Park. I absolutely LOVE Black Park. The only thing I will say is that the Parking is quite expensive, especially during 'Peak' season, but this trip was just outside of peak so was only £4.50 for 4 hours, but goes alot higher during Peak. Will 100% go back again. It's a thoroughly enjoyable day for adults and Children alike.

This was our first escape room experience and we absolutely loved it! Eddie our game master was brilliant, gave us instructions before going in and clues when needed along the way. It was nice that me and the hubby could play this together without having to have a huge group or have strangers added to make our numbers up, something that's put us off doing escape rooms in the past. We done the Taken room which is a traditional lock and key room and cannot wait to come back again to do the Swirl room which Eddie said was completely different and more around electronics. Exciting! Thanks for a great time guys. Looking forward to you doing more rooms!

Absolutely Ice - Slough Ice Arena

Reviewed By willsmithorg2

Went there today with 1 son - noon to 3pm on a Saturday, in summer holidays. The rink and facilities are in great condition - not surprising because it's only been open a few months, but still worth mentioning. What surprised me the most was how few people there were. There was almost no queue to get skates, and I got a "penguin" for my son instantly, rather than being told they've run out like used to happen before the refurbishment. So we had a great 2 hours on the ice. At the start there were perhaps 20 other people on the ice; by the end it was around 50. But most were beginners so going slowly, there were a few experts, but nobody going in the wrong direction or recklessly across the prevailing traffic. All in all, an excellent experience. Will definitely be coming back. I just hope the company that run it are making a profit with this few customers. The only negative - the website is useless, it's hard to find out the programme, and everything else (like where to book lessons etc) is in a "contact us" format rather than being layed out on the website. Why not stick all this stuff on the website?

So pleased with my sons 10th birthday party - the hosts (Jack in particular) were absolutely brilliant with the children. 12 x 10 year old boys = mania, but Jack was so calm and fun with them all. Cannot thank you enough and have recommended :)
