The babysitting service that Niseko Kids Club is an excellent service for the the Niseko area. We have been using this service for a few years now and always have great babysitters. This year we had Alice and she was great with our daughter and our friend's children.

The man in the hat is.... Major Theodore Edler von Lerch, statue stands beside highway 5, as you drive in to Kutchan from Niseko, It's on your right hand side just before you reach Max Value Supermarket on your Left. The Major, came to Japan to learn how a small country like Japan could defeat Russia in the Sino-Russian War. However when the Japanese learnt he was a skier, he was persuaded to teach the Japanese skiing and is credited with introducing the Japanese to the sport of skiing....
