Are you interested in the personal stories behind the heroes of the battle of the Bulge? Then Reg is your man. Not only did he personally meet and befriend a lot of veterans, he also guided the crew of band of brothers. Reg is one of the most passionate story tellers we've ever met. He knows all kinds of anecdotes about Bastogne and basically devoted his life to passing on these stories. This guy will take you on a tour that you'll never forget and would want your children and grandchildren to witness as well. We think the contribution of Reg to passing on this legacy in the vivid and profound way he does, is of an invaluable importance. Thanks again Reg!

This star shaped memorial with all the 50 states wrapped around it is a tribute to the men and women, because women also died in WWII, who came here, faught here and ended their lives here so that the world would be a better place for everyone. As a soldier and has a daughter, whose Father fought here and returned, We should All honor our fallen. We came in winter to remember what it was like 75 years ago, in this cold winter days.

McAuliffe Square

Reviewed By TravelerO279 - Washington DC, United States

Best point to meet with tour guides/start tours, or begin to see the town. Lots of restaurants located on this square including a small visitor center. Also an easy place to park, albeit paid parking. The Sherman tank at edge of the square is easy to spot and was itself knocked out during the battle here, worth seeing though. Great spot to jump off into seeing Bastogne and the surrounding countryside.

Eglise Saint-Pierre

Reviewed By voyageur182018 - Ixelles, Belgium

Bastogne was not born in 1944, there are much older traces as well. This is the cas of this church of St Peter, whose name already marks the age. The building is in gothic style with an older tower still topped with its hourd. The interior is remarkable with its rich and rare frescoes of the ceiling dating back to the 16th (portrait of Charles Quint for example), rich furniture and splendid baptismal fonts.
