A very natural experience

A place of natural beauty and care. Being a solo traveller, i never felt more at home. There were insects and other small creatures in the room. I would advise for some more cleanliness. Mr Bhajji, one who is incharge of dining took great care too. Food was very good and tasted like home cooked meals. Mr Mukesh who is incharge there took care of everything like safaris, pick up and drops and any small request was taken care of. A man made reservoir for the birds shows the sensitivity for conservation. There itself i sighted many birds. I would recommend this place to any nature lover and is not highly disturbed by insects. If you are in the midst of the forest, one has to pass these. I was really sad leaving the resort and would advise people to go for it. It is not a verry luxury stay, having said that, the resort was full at all times of my three nights visit. I hope the resort can maintain this, and does not destroy it's ambience with loud music. A little more cleanliness would be appreciated.. Overall a fabulous experience.

Nice place poorly maintained

Reviewed By fanofm

the only thing going for this place is the location which is 5 min walk from Tala Gate, which is not a huge advantage as the gypsy will come to pick you up for safari at any hotel you stay at. the resort has a huge lawn which is good to relax and chill out, however rooms are a big let down, TV's dont work, mattresses are not clean and super uncomfortable. first room we got the flush was broken, however the room was changed next day. no hot water supply in rooms we were given a electric rod to heat water which took hours and was super putoff as we had a kid and it was dangerous with a electric rod hanging. the the staff is polite and try to make your stay comfortable, however the owners do not maintain the property. I would suggest not to stay here as many other properties at budget are available with much better facilities.

Monsoon Forest

Monsoons are considered sacred in India. At Monsoon Forest, we consider nature, the forests and its beings just as sacred. Experience this sacredness with us at Monsoon Forest, an oasis of serenity amidst acres of beautiful grasslands. It is the perfect base to explore the magic of the Bandhavgarh Forest, India's tiger haven. With breathtaking views of the forest, grasslands and Bandhavgarh Fort, our ten-acre resort is just a few minutes drive from the Bandhavgarh Forest area. We are a unique Indian luxury eco-resort with beautiful, air-conditioned cottages with modern en-suite facilities. Our indigenous design draws inspiration from the earthy mud houses. For guests wanting a real wildlife experience, we have beautifully crafted luxury tents and cottages set under the shade of glorious Mahua trees. Surrounded by grasslands, you can enjoy hearing various animal and bird calls and even spot them roaming within our premises. With us, you can enjoy personalized and experienced guided jeep and elephant safaris. Indulge in various other activities like Bandhavgarh Fort excursions, birding picnics, private dining, local village visits and reforestation project. Enjoy relaxing massages or a swim in our pool set amidst nursery and organic vegetable farm. We offer homemade traditional Indian cuisine and local delicacies at our multiple indoor and outdoor dining venues. On request we can also cater for specific dietary needs. We started out as a reforestation project on a piece of barren land, devastated by overgrazing and logging. We are a work in progress, determined to bring back the forest and to make it a sanctuary for the rare and endangered indigenous trees and plants of the central Indian jungles, one of the last remaining homes of tigers in the wild. Join us in promoting responsible and sustainable Eco-tourism. The park opens in mid October every year. This season the safaris will not operate in the park on every Wednesday afternoon but we will keep you busy with other activities and natural history experiences. Monsoon Forest will always be ready to receive guests and promise quality stay and experience.

GREAT HOSPITALITY

Reviewed By Harshit2898

The resort is very calm, peaceful and a nice place to have a leisure vacation with family or friends. We stayed around 3 days at the resort and it was one of the best hospitality that I have ever been offered with. The staff was very polite to us. Anything that we needed was just a phone call away. I personally appreciate the food and ambiance of the resort. Location of the resort feels like you are at someplace alone in the middle of a forest with all the facilities available to you. Overall it was a great resort for our money's worth.
