Reviewed By OverseezAs an airport hotel, 10 out of 10, but as a Sofitel, it doesn’t really compare to, say, a place like the St. James in London or New York or even, for that matter, the slightly dated Melbourne Sofitel, and as the Sofitel brand goes, it's a solid 7 tops. The location is ideal, absolutely perfect for a stay over to catch an early flight, the hotel is neat as a pin, the staff efficient and friendly, the rooms adequately appointed with nice towels and crisp sheets. It’s amazingly quiet considering you are adjacent to an international airport. The pool, gym and sauna are OK, if a tad small. The bar terrace is a pleasant space to relax for a drink and perhaps a nosh, although the food options are limited.

Good Value Close to Airport
Reviewed By TravellingGail2017First stay here. Wanted a place close to the airport without the airport prices. Beautiful location amongst a cluster of homes and farms. Breakfast is pretty basic...juice box, fresh fruit and a sesame seed roll. Suggest walking down a scenic path, past horse, chickens and roosters to the nearby bakery for coffee and breakfast/lunch. Bottled water provided and replenished free. I expected the airplane noise to be awful, but it was not bad inside the rooms and I had no trouble sleeping. Yes, if you are sitting in an outside area, you may have to stop talking when some low planes fly by. Our room was on the second floor and the breeze and view to the sea were amazing. Our sons were in separate rooms and joined is for conversation on our spacious balcony. Fodos picked us up at the airport and was so friendly and accommodating for our 2 day stay. If he was available and not transporting other guests, he drove us to the sea. We walked to the beach once. It is about a 40 minute walk next to a noisy street, mostly in an industrial area. More pleasant to go by car. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star was the last night some new guests arrived and I realised how clearly I could hear them from my room. I think they may have been exceptionally noisy, but I could hear them brushing their teeth and their conversations. Some soundproofing could be helpful. I was awakened at midnight and again at 6 am. I would return to this accommodation for a night or two.

Όπως θα μπορεσεται να δείτε στο σαιτ τους γράφουν ότι μπορετοί να κάνετε δωρεάν ακύρωση της κρατήσεις.(μέγα ψέμα) Εγω είχα κανει κράτηση και μια ήμερα πριν πετάξω για Ελλάδα με βγήκαν θετικοί στον Κορονοιο. Έτσι μου απαγορέψαν την πτήση. Εγω άμεσος εστηλα e mail για να ακυρώσω την κράτηση μου και αν ήταν δυνατόν να επιστρεφόταν τα χρήματα. Κανείς δεν απάντησε. Μια ήμερα μετα και αφού ακόμη βρισκόμουν στο εξωτερικο τους πηρα τηλ. Στην αρχει μου ειπαν οτι πρεπει να εχω στηλη μαιλ πριν την άφιξη μου για να γίνει δείκτη η ακύρωση και οχι να ενημερώνω μετα την προγραμματισμένη ήμερα άφιξης και πολλές άλλες δικαιολογίες. Μόλις εγώ τους επιβεβαίωσα το email που είχα στήλη αρχίσαν να μου τα ξανα στρίβουν λέγοντας ότι η πολιτική της εταιρείας είναι να μην κανει επιστροφες και κτλπ. Great two-bedroom apartment in a comfortable location for a very good price!
Reviewed By HappyhepiWe came by the accommodation by chance, after leaving another property that we had booked in Spata, which was unheated and without parking. We called Costas, after finding his info online, and he had the apartment ready for us in two hours, after the other guests left. He gave us to choose from two apartments, which were both very nice. The apartment was very spacious, clean and super comfortable, having everything you need. There is a spacious terrace with a view running along the whole apartment. There is a heating and additionally each rooms has an AC. There was water, juice, butter, jam, croissants, milk, coffee and tea provided for the breakfast. The apartment is very close to supermarkets and bakeries, as well as to the McGlenn Outlet and ZOO. We parked our minivan in the yard inside, it was very comfortable and secure. The location is very quiet, there is absolutely no noise from the other apartments. The electrically heated mattresses made our day, this is such a lovely touch. Last but not least, Costas is really welcoming, nice and always available if you need anything. The price was really good. If we come back to Spata, we will definitely come here. Thanks for a lovely stay!
