A 18th Century house with inside five romantic and refined bedrooms with private services (bath or shower),furnished with antique furniture and equipped with all comfort.One of the bedrooms is without any architectural barrier, with easy access for the disabled.All the bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioner, mini-bar, telephone,television and videorecorder.The house is surrounded by a 5,000 square metres fenced park with a large panoramic swimming pool.

When you sit in front of the house , in the shades of the trees or by the pool, no dark humming of a busy city - only th bright souonds of nature opening up our ears, our eyes, our noses, our mind. Thank you for your excellent "number 2" hospitality! Holidays couldn't be more pleasant anywhere else! We enjoyed our 10 days in your house and will come back soon. Thank you Rebecca! A 16th-century farmhouse set amid unspoiled woodland where peace and quiet create a cosy and magical atmosphere. A charming piece of Umbrian history which discloses its beauty from the dirt road that leads to Meone Vecchio through the woods. Beautifully preserved thanks to an environment-friendly restoration that preserved its original characteristics, it has also been made comfortable and functional. Tiziano and Patrizia, who run the place with energy and warmth, came here five years ago and started their labour of love, the restoration of Meone Vecchio, preserving its fine character—beamed ceilings, stone walls, cotto floors, original fireplace—while adding modern comforts. The farmhouse is divided into five 1-2-3-bedroom suites, with stylish rural while snug interiors—none are the same and each has its own flair. In the hills between Umbria and Tuscany, “La Torre” is located in an enchanting position in one of the most beautiful territories of Italy. Five apartments are available, each one with their own entrance and with every possible comfort. Here you can experience the atmosphere of that time relaxing in complete harmony with nature. Reviewed By Fiona CWe were part of a larger family group booking three apartments. My lot stayed in the Fuoco for one week. (I had initially booked the Torre, but others balked - it's actually beautiful when you see it!) The online photos don't do the Fuoco justice - it's a very large, airy space, and kept us cool during the searing August heat. We thought we would be envious of family members staying in the Aria and Aqua apartments, but weren't at all. All the apartments had everything one could need; and everything inside and outside was very tastefully decorated to a high standard, and clean/tidy. Extra touches, like the awning over the car-parking area so cars weren't roasting hot when entering them, showed how much the hosts think about guests' needs and comfort. The estate's buildings have been restored superbly, and the grounds wonderfully landscaped. The tennis court was excellent, and the table tennis table a bonus. Every day, from morning to night, we could see Guiliano whizzing about on his quad tending to the grounds and and olive groves, but keeping a discrete distance from guests. The best bits though were the salt-water pool, and the spectacular panoramic views of the Tuscan/Umbrian hills especially as the hues turned to dark blues and purples at dusk, or when brief thunderstorms rolled by. There are many wonderful places nearby to visit, and we dined at two beautiful local hilltop villages: Monte Santa Maria Tiberina and Citerna. However, the Torre di Celle was enough in itself to keep us all, across a 60-year age span, more than happy to stay home most days and nights. We only got to meet Nadia on our last day as she had been away, and she was as lovely as our email exchanges had suggested. We were very grateful to Nadia's friend and neighbour, Roberta, for helping us out in her absence. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By Suzanne VSuch a relaxing and special place. So quiet and peaceful. Really enjoy spending time with the animals. The hosts are wonderful and warm people. The scenery and landscape are breathtaking. The cottages are simple but very clean. Francesca is a very patient guide with the horses. Lots of lovely villages nearby and no shortage of restaurants. Terrain is quite steep and rough. Great for couples or families. The swimming pool is large with lots of chairs and loungers (although not heated. Can't wait to return and would recommend.
