Reviewed By KulturcatThis wonderfully retro hotel would have been the height of fashion in the 1960. It has a spectacular view over the sea with Capri in the distance. But the coast is now dominated by the main road to Naples and has strip development all along it. The rooms were no doubt very chic but now smell of drains and the bathrooms are worse. Get a room with a sea view and spend your time on the balcony with a cool drink. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The room was filled with old beds, no working aircondition, dirty sheets, the toiletseat was full of pee and the showercurtain broken. We went to the reception where the clerk barely understood english. This "hotel" looks like the abandonned mentalhospitals you see in movies. If you have a car i'd recconmend sleeping in it rather than staying at this hotel.

Enjoyable stay in Mondragone!
Reviewed By Mark WMy colleague and I stayed at the VP for two nights. It is easy to find; however, access is a bit challenging through a gate on the busy Via Appia Antica. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the restored villa and learned about its historic background. The room was comfortable and the facilities (common sitting room, kitchen, etc) were excellent. Unfortunately we were not there on a weekend so the restaurant was closed. We had a medical emergency and the owners - Salvatore and Emilio - were extremely helpful in dealing with it. I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay while in Mondragone. We hope to visit again ourselves.

Reviewed By SilviaTomaino85Ho soggiornato per 6 notti in questo b&b. Stanza piccola, letto comodo, bagno ad uso esclusivo. Colazione da rivedere assolutamente! Uno arriva nella patria del Cornetto e cosa trovi? Brioche confezionate il caffè da farti e la suddetta macchinetta che ogni tanto ti abbandona! Per 1.30€ in un bar fai colazione da re! Questa cosa mi ha particolarmente deluso! Buono il prezzo a notte ma sicuramente si può migliorare, dato l’unico servizio di colazione assurda! Aggiungo che c’era umidità e mi sono anche preso il raffreddore.

Reviewed By 702nicolalLocale da evitare assolutamente, ci sono stato con 20 amici la sera di ferragosto, siamo andati via senza mangiare, cibo riscaldato del pranzo di ferragosto, senza pane, appena e arrivato il primo con piatti sporchi e immangiabile siamo andati via, dopo una discussione con i proprietari e avere chiamato i carabinieri abbiamo pagato qualcosa per quello che abbiamo mangiato è siamo andati via. Poi come si fanno commenti scomodi su Facebook blocca e cancella i commenti.
