It is no Hilton!

Watch out for the misleading misnomer of a name. No way to charge your ( Euro plug) toothbrush or shaver. The bathroom does not have it. Also no fridge. Next to me there was a tour group.Poor things, their food ran out before everyone could eat.The utter contempt they were treated with was pathetic.( But ordering à la carte was fine!). An example of what this faux- Hilton thinks of its guests.Shame on you, Hilton in Hamilton, Scotland.

Good location

Friendly staff, nice room, very clean, breakfast disappointing as no vegetables except beans, it would have been nice of tomatoes and mushrooms were on offer too. The evening menu wasn't vast but it was enjoyable.

We had another very pleasant stay at Premier Inn Hamilton. We were going into Glasgow for a meal and it is very handy to stay in Hamilton and take train into Glasgow. Hotel is fairly new and have stayed several times since it opened. Always clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Didn't eat in hotel this time but have had both breakfast and evening meals in past. All food is good. Even had Sunday roast before which was very good. Evening bar serves excellent cocktails! Will definitely return.

Decent place for a night halt

We stayed here for the night while driving from London to Scotland. Based on its location, it is quite a convenient place for a night halt. Unfortunately the internet was not working when we stayed. Decent rooms and beds.

Great food and staff, bed to uncomfortable to sleep!

Reviewed By 417lesleys

Firstly the staff were magnificent, happy helpful and polite. Bar staff attentive and quick to serve, prices were as expected in a hotel bar. As we were with friends with a dog; we ate in Bar Milano garden section. The pizzas were authentic and tasty. Breakfast was buffet style, hot and plentiful with cereals pastries and selection of breads. Waitress was helpful. Reception staff were polite attentive and quick to react to any issues. Cleaning standard was OK as a bottle of juice was left by the taxi/leaflet table for 2 days only moved when we commented. Dust could be seen under glass protective shelves which wasn't a good look. Room was dated and does need updating both in decor and fixtures but clean with good supply of toiletries, tea & coffee. Small ironing board and travel iron was a lovely touch. Bathroom like the room needs updating towel shelf above toilet was loose and coming away from the wall, on our last day we had an issue with the toilet on which was slow to clear this was reported and given to maintenance to deal with, not sure if this was rectified. My biggest criticism was the comfort of the bed, there wasn't any, this was by far the worst /hardest bed I have ever encountered, I slept on top of the duvet to make it more bearable to no avail.

The Bay Horse

Inhabitable.

Reviewed By KayeB03

Well, first there was no WiFi as stated, check in was across 4 lanes of busy traffic, then 4 lanes to get back. The room booked was a double but what we found was two single beds pushed together, was uncomfortable to sleep on and kept rolling into the centre. The blinds had questionable stains on them, as did the walls, the shower was broken and I could've gotten wetter if someone stood and spat at me. The shower gel box was also broke. There was greasy hand stains on the head board. We were right above what felt like hell as the temperature of the room was somewhere between 15 degrees and Satan. No food/drink available. No staff anywhere. Definitely not worth the £100 spent for two nights.
