Charikot Panorama Resort was designed, in collaboration with a Swiss architect, and built in the late Nineties by Top Thapa and his Swiss wife Judith Thapa-Maag. It was officially opened on the 1st of January, 2000. Great care was taken to use local materials and to blending the buildings with the local style, be it in stone masonry or with the white washed bungalows. We grow most of our vegetables including salads ourselves. To work and to cook in hygienic conditions is one of our main concerns. Our aim is to provide a comfortable stay surrounded by a rural setting with spectacular views in a friendly and homely atmosphere far from stress, noise and pollution.

If you're planning to visit Kalinchowk, Kuri Village then you can definitely plan a stay here either while going or returning..The view is absolutely breathtaking from the resort. The staff is also very friendly. Local food is good.

Terrible Hotel
Reviewed By Raj Smay Be 6 month be 4 i visited this hotel. the staffs are very rude, not polite at all no warm water. the bed sheet was very dirty with lots of stains on it. even after they changed it, it was still very dirty. there was this particular staff who handled everything like housekeeping, waitering, receptionist, cashier and he was too irritating and he was too talkative. the dinner was average and did not have any breakfast because of the staffs' behaviour. i will never ever return back to this hotel because this hotel is such a mess. the room wifi is good.

Acceptable, but there is some better alternative
Reviewed By Pierre WIt is right at the center of Charikot, practical if you arrive by bus in the evening, and rooms have mountain views although through absurdly tainted windows. But those rooms face North and are cold. It is only superficially clean. obviously they never perform a thorough cleaning which would be necessary ... well like many other provincial hotels in Nepal. If you walk 500 meters, there is at least one much better hotel, only slightly more expensive.
