We spent three days in el Eje Cafetero with the help of the team at Aware. You can tell it's a team where everyone doing the planning has been a guide in the area. The days were each planned perfectly, with enough to do and see, but not a sense of needing to hurry. It felt like getting a local view on the best things to see in the area, not like reading off a list in a guide book. In three days we were able to see a coffee finca, a cacao finca, hike in Valle del Cocora, ride horses at a horse rescue, and enjoy some great food.
