Mexican Food Tours

Our guided Mexican food tours and Mexican cooking lessons are seriously fun. In our Mexican food tours you'll visit some off the beaten path locations in Mexico City, a paradise for foodies. You'll taste food from a variety of one-of-a-kind Mexican eateries while receiving the locals' view into the culture and architecture. Enjoy new culinary perspectives, new flavors, bright smiles, and the opportunity to understand better where and how the locals eat & live. Our goal is that you eat like the locals and get a clear idea of the authentic Mexican Cuisine. Between tastings, you'll experience the life of Mexico City's residents, the so-called "Chilangos", as you enjoy walking around fascinating neighborhoods like Polanco or lovely and authentic markets such as Mercado de San Juan located in Centro Histórico. In our Mexican cooking lessons, you'll cook some delicious Mexican dishes with and expert Mexican chef, an unforgettable experience. We run tours all year round. All food tastings and drinks are included in the ticket price. **Our Polanco food tour ends close to the Anthropology Museum (walking distance), so you might consider spending the rest of your day in the most important museum of our country.

Fluenz Spanish Immersion

The most intense Spanish program in the world for an exclusive group of participants at a luxury mansion in Mexico City. Forbes calls it "Unrivaled in Language Learning"; Conde Nast says it's "The Coolest Way to Learn a Language"; The Boston Globe describes it as "Kicking your Spanish into High Gear." Call or write to find out more about our week-long intense immersions with high level coaches.

The week at the Fluenz experience in Mexico City was entirely memorable, for the right reasons. I write as someone with intermediate Spanish, somewhat stalled in execution, who has worked at it for most of a decade without achieving the fluency that I desire. At Fluenz they achieve a 'concierge-level' education experience by assessing your current level with a pre-arrival interview and writing test, and then tailor your sessions to your needs. My wife and I had private or semiprivate lessons twice a day which definitely stretched our abilities and gave us a lot of new confidence and skill with both our pre-existing language skills and a lot of new material. We both made new milestones and came away recharged! There was lots of other stuff, like the yoga sessions, the beautiful boutique hotel setting, the museum visits, and the amazing restaurant experience. Definitely worth the price in my book.
