Chapel Porth Beach

A little bit of a hike is required to get to this secluded beach, but the trip is well worth it.

Low tide or an ebbing tide is the best time to visit, great surfing spot, its an oasis of a Cove with a café toilets and parking. Very busy in the summer phenomenal walk to the next beach at low tide or enjoy a ramble across the cliffs with spectacular views and loads of old mines to explore. as a National Trust Site sadly NO dogs.

We have been to Blue Hills several times before, but it’s in such a beautiful place, you will want to go back. Tin is extracted by streaming and then processed on site using water power. As it is small scale, you can get close and personal to the machines to see what they do. We will be back!

St Agnes Museum

An award-winning volunteer-run Museum comprising information, artefacts and curios relating to the Parish of St. Agnes. St. Agnes is a beautiful coastal village with a rich history of tin and copper mining as well as fishing, although today its main trade is tourism. A visit to the museum will enhance your understanding of this special history and can be complemented with one of many walks taking in the historic mine engine house remains or lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes or pubs. The Museum was established in 1984 and moved to its current location in the old Chapel of Rest in 1990.

My Wife & I Stayed At The Rosemundy Hotel And Took The Time To Visit St Agnes Museum. We Were So Impressed With The Appearance Of The Building, It's Like A Small Village Church. Upon Entering The Museum, We Were Welcomed Warmly By A Very Kind Gentleman Who Was Serving At The Till. He Explained About The Museum And Was Very Interesting And Informative. The Museum Is Fantastic, Amazing Things To See And Such A Calming Atmosphere, It Was A Real Joy To Visit We Are Staying At Rosemundy Again This Year So Will Definitely Be Headed Back To The Museum Again
