L’Hotel Vallisdea, che prende il nome dalla mitica Dea della Valle, è una struttura ricettiva moderna, accogliente ed a gestione familiare. E’ situato in un luogo panoramico, mette a disposizione dei propri clienti un ampio parcheggio privato con servizio garage, un’area sosta camper ed un’autorimessa propria. E’ accessibile ai disabili ed è munito di ascensore. Al suo interno sono ammessi animali domestici (non di grossa taglia, ovviamente). L’Hotel offre un’ampia Sala Convegni con ben 300 posti a sedere. All’interno dell’Albergo viene offerto un vero e proprio servizio Bar. Accorpato all’Albergo si trova il Ristorante Antros. In esso i clienti dell’Albergo ed i turisti di passaggio si deliziano di una cucina locale gustosa e genuina con succulenti piatti a base di pesce e carni locali, oppure con pizze strepitose in morbidezza e condimento. È una cucina che privilegia i piatti tipici locali, senza peraltro snobbare le specialità nazionali ed internazionali, sempre molto ricercate ed apprezzate dai turisti.

Reviewed By dlomanginoThe hotel staff was very friendly -- however, the older gentlemen did not speak English very well. It wasn't a planned stop and the hotel was very close to the autostrada. We had to wait for the restaurant to be open and the food was very good well worth the wait, Breakfast was fine and I had a great conversation with the lady owner.

The charm of a small working farm
Reviewed By gshmueli67I reserved two rooms for myself and two friends, three women 60-70 years old. When we drove in the evening into the farmyard after a long day's drive from Calabria, Sr. Michele Rosciano, who was working in his small vineyard, came to greet us. He seemed surprised: You booked here? Tonight? Non c'e problema! You are welcome. "We also booked to have dinner on the farm", I added anxiously. "Can you accommodate our request?" Certo! Non c'e problema! And from then on, it was all perfect. The friendly hospitality of Sr. Rosciano, wife Maria and daughter Monica was so spontaneous and gracious, we felt right at home. The rooms were simply furnished, but perfectly adequate. Lovely to see snow-capped Mt. Cervati from my window, and to hear the burbling spring water in the fish ponds. The farm is surrounded by fields, you can see the stars at night. It is right next door to the ancient Baptistery San Giovanni. The food was delicious. Maria easily accommodated our request for some vegetarian dishes. The first evening we tasted wild asparagus freshly picked from the adjacent mountainside. On Friday, Michele prepared baked trout (for the non-vegetarians). It was delightful to be on a small, compact working farm, immaculately tended, where the owners still grow their own vegetables and fruits, not to mention the trout, and make everything themselves: fresh baked bread and cakes, fresh eggs, home-made sausages, honey, jam, etc. The Roscianos firmly believe that people who come to an agriturismo should not be served food that they can buy in the supermarket. The family was very helpful in every respect: Maria served as apothecary for Amie's cold. She stocked us with sandwiches (gratis) for a day's excursion to Matera. Daughter Monica speaks English, the parents do not.

Reviewed By Patton93Beautiful and spacious place to spend a relaxing short or long stay. The service was perfect and Luigina was a most gracious host. The breakfast was good and prompt. Plenty of good restaurants in vicinity. Had a little difficulty finding the place the first time.

A gentlemen with a fascinating pirate beard and a master in aereospace engineering , who. loves deeply his homeland and is incredibly good at communicating his enthusiasm. Enzo know s everything about the region and is capable to organize detailed excursion and visits finely tuned on the tastes and the needs of his customers. Charming, kind and incredibly attentive. We come here for business and after talking two hours with him we decided to return for a week to explore the region.

magnifica vista con piscina e tanta simpatia ed accoglienza

La struttura è accogliente e ben rifinita, ha una vista panoramica verso il Vallo di Diano ed il Cilento davvero superba. Un'ottima piscina di acqua sorgiva alla giusta temperatura hanno reso il pur breve soggiorno quanto mai piacevole. Infine ottima l'accoglienza di Michela ed Angelo i due titolari della struttura, prodighi di informazioni ed indicazioni sul territorio circostante sia per i siti storici che naturalistici (quella regione appare un vero scrigno di bellezze e di tesori!). Buona la colazione e ottime le susine dei loro frutteto, offerte appena arrivati con un fresco aperitivo. Andateci e non resterete delusi!
