20 Comfortable chalets for the guests, large open restaurant with spectacular sea view and cosy bar. Tailored boat trips to islands for diving, snorkeling, beautiful caves visiting, etc. Google us for more info.
Remote location for quiet days
Reviewed By HPConnyThe location of the resort is quite remote but that's what we were looking for. You can ride the bike (if you are in good shape) or take a taxi to the tip of Borneo. We drove with Jenny. She has an old car but it has AC and Jenny is very nice. The bungalows are spacious. Since it was low season we got a unit in the front row. We were disappointed that the "Biostation" does not exist anymore. Access to the ocean in front of the resort is difficult. You need to walk a little bit to have better access. Only the ares in front of the resorts are cleaned up. Overall we spent some nice quiet days at the resort.

We are at the tip of Borneo. We are 500 metres walk to the tip of Borneo.We have daily shuttle from Kota Kinabalu to Tip of Borneo and return.
Beautiful Place
Reviewed By JUDYLEE2003There were notany rooms in the chalet, our room had a queen n single bed. The place is comfort enought, has a electric kettle, 3 bottles mineral water but no cups or coffee packs. The beddings are very comfort too n you had a nice view as u sit at the balcony. This stay does not include bf. We order fish for dinner at cafeteria n the fish is very fresh but the cheese burger I order I wont say is good.the place is pack during weekends n holidays now that Covid is over, we came on a Monday and is quite empty

LOVELY NICE HOTEL
Reviewed By JUDYLEE2003This hotel lived up to it's name with the friendly staffs, from reception to door man to room cleaners. The hotel looked new to me and is very clean. There are instant mee cups on display at the reception so you can buy them if hungry at midnite. The room has electric kettle, 2 coffee cups, coffee packs 2 bottles mineral water but no mini fridge. The bathroom is clean with dispisable toothbrush, mini soaps, etcThere is a simple shelf where you can put your stuff. The room is not very big but enough for 2 guests

Reviewed By Xanthus_AStayed here for 1 night on our way to visit the Tip of Borneo. We had a minimalist clean and nice connecting double rooms come with 2 toilet with heaters. The room also comes with free breakfast ie fried noodles and egg sandwich. This place is just across the beach and within walking distance.

The Valai is the most centrally located budget hotel in Kudat. It is less than 100 meters to the ferry terminal to Banggi and Palawan in the Philipines. It is also walking distance to the taxi and bus terminals. Though a budget hotel the rooms are fitted with proper King Koil mattresses, new air conditioners and hot water showers. There is free WiFi in the lobby and a rooftop restaurant.

Reviewed By MsDumaringHotel is a shoplot and located about 5 mins drive from Kudat town. Basic accommodation, room a bit musty but gets better once the airconditioning is switched on. Ask for ground floor room as they're newer compared with 1st floor rooms. Pub/ karaoke next door/ block so expect some noise at night. There's a grocery shop and 1-2 eateries nearby. Helpful staff.

Reviewed By Flora Ilarge queen size room ... but bad smell in the room - The urine's smell is also quite strong throughout the room and toilet. A kettle is available but sugar + coffee are not provided. What's suprising me is the cups attached in a plate.. like im not allowed to use it! Terrible....
