Just over the road from New Douglas Park, home of Hamilton Academical Football Club - the Accies to their fans - this popular meeting place is a pub that takes its sport seriously. The regulars all have their favourites seats around the big circular bar where they engage in lively banter with the friendly staff. It's a busy daytime bar, a hit especially with horseracing fans.

My husband and I Found this wee pub yesterday as we were staying in Hamilton ...what a fantastic day we had ..staff great and atmosphere was also great ..karaoke was fab entertainment ..thanks to Irene behind the bar ..she was very welcoming and was so cheery....will be back soon when we stay in Hamilton ..A++++

I often meet friend here on a Friday night, before moving on to the local Indian restaurant. The bar is quite upmarket, and this is reflected in the price of some of the beers on offer. However, this is no reason to give it a try. It is quite close to Hamilton race course, so if you are in the area give it a try. It's many years since I was last in on a Saturday, so I can only surmise that there will be either a DJ, or a live band playing. well worth a visit.

A pub that I’m very much looking forward to visiting when lockdown ends. Following a little bit of research, I’ve learned that they’re specialists in live entertainment and seem to show a lot of sport which is really appealing to me. Ticks lots of boxes and most importantly all punters seem happy with the beer on offer! Bring it on.
