Festetics Palace

We took a ticket for the palace and one attraction (the coach museum). The palace is very nice, well preserved and contains amazing furniture and many other interesting things. The visit of the palace lasted about one hour and after that we visited the coach museum and the garden. We really spent some lovely hours there.

Baratlakasok

Reviewed By MatthewB101042 - Thunder Bay District, Canada

I went here in August 2019. I had no idea it was at the top of a hill so I wasn't able to get to the top because I wasn't wearing shoes that were good for hiking. Make sure you wear good hiking shoes so you don't slip on the trail as the trail is small and steep in some places. I would love to go back there and actually see the cliff dwelling. The view from the hill is very nice and there are many gift shops below the hill. If you're afraid of heights, the trail can be a bit scary but it offers a lot of nice views. I believe there are two trails that go to the same place so the other one might be safer.
