Wonderful hotel, wonderful service
Reviewed By charismao2022My wife and I had our honeymoon in the Civitel Creta Beach Hotel. And what can we say, it was just wonderful. The beach is beautiful, everything is clean (and kept clean), the restaurant is top notch and the service awesome. Special mention needs to go to Maria and Leotine from the wellness department. They are so kind and helpful. And Leotine works wonders with her hands, my wife had no pain in her spine after a massage by Leotine. Amazing! We will definitly come back next year! Santa & Matthias

The Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa is situated an the sandy beach of Amoudara at the north coast of central Crete, just 8 km from the airport, city centre and the harbour of Heraklion. Since 2019 we open the "Avocado" VEGAN Restaurant at our property ! There are in total 336 rooms and suite with mini bar, individually controlled air-condition (24 hours), safe box, LED Smart TV 43 ", Telephone, hairdryer, Internet access and Wi-Fi in every room, free of charge, beach towels.
Lovely family holiday and great spa experience
Reviewed By Antje1982The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the large garden and easy beach access, and most importantly the friendly personnel more than made up for that. Everything was very clean, the rooms were serviced daily. Nice cold air conditioning and soundproof windows/doors. We booked a bungalow and were placed in a room on the ground floor which was great for garden and pool access. I had two massages and a facial at the spa, the treatments were first class. Everyone was nice and professional, thank you Irina, Kiki, Kristina and Athena. You guys are amazing! ! The buffets offered a great variety and were constantly monitored and refreshed. Nice local food selection also. Well made cocktails were served at the bar, and some evenings there was live music. We had an evening meal at the Ambrosia by the beach, and tho the menu is short, the food, atmosphere and service was very good. We spent 7 nights at the Apollonia resort and it was perfect, our first holiday with a baby. The hotel is family friendly and not pretentious. Would recommend and we will return for another visit!

Pool is fine, there could be more facilities for children. But even though we enjoied it and we are coming again. Very close to Heraklion, you can walk out of the hotel to the main street full of shops. There is also very nice shop in the hotel area.

Pleasant stay
Reviewed By 822sigurdrWe had a very pleasant ‘all inclusive’ stay for this week. The people working there are extremely service minded, from manager to cleaners. Bar and kitchen: good class and good varieties. The only ‘but’ is that there are few guests (out of season) and when food is served as buffet it is an advantage to be early to the meals, otherwise the food could be ‘cold’ and a little dry. Cleaning: superb!
