Yalvac Muzesi

Reviewed By A9246MPjoelc - Minneapolis, United States

The muzesi gives you a great follow up to the ruins site at Anticonk for a better idea of what was on the site. It tells you more history on the site and region, it shows you the trail of Paul, and has artifacts of when he lived at the site for roughly two years. It is a must see and stop, It only takes about an hour to go through the museum.

Antioch of Pisidia

Reviewed By A9246MPjoelc - Minneapolis, United States

The Antioch of Pisidia is one very cool Roman city that has been uncovered and is now an open working archaeological dig and museum. You pay to get in and roam freely around the site. It is outlined by the city wall and you see the outlines of the buildings, etc. You can see the great theater, and the worn city streets with 2000 year old wagon wheel indentations in the stone. You will see how the Romans built the city water and sewer systems. From what I am told, the site is the home of the first church building ever recorded in human history. This is a must see site and dress for it.
