At anytime during the year, Great Falls is a sight to see. In the spring especially, Great Falls (also known as Grindstone) is swollen and the falls are just amazing! Many times, I've started hikes that lead to Great Falls, stop for pictures and then we take the Bruce Trail that goes down a very steep (and also icy during winter) stairs. At any the year, Great Falls is a photographer's dream. I have seen groups of photographers actually making it all the way down the rocky and bouldery creek with their huge cameras trying to capture the beauty of the falls.
The public viewing area gets really busy and crowded, but that should not dissuade you from visiting.

From time to time when I stop in the town of Waterdown I like to stop into this little bookstore.
It is easy to find as it is right on the main street plus there is lot's of parking available. One is never rushed when checking out their well stocked shelves plus their staff is always willing to help. They are very knowledgeable and to get you any used books from elsewhere if they don't have it in stock!

So many great classes and instructors at The Yogashala - and you can choose between hot room classes or regular temperature. The vibe is welcoming, I love their classes, and.... this one is important to me as well, this is the cleanest, most impeccable studio ever. Seriously, they keep it spotless. Be sure to check out their schedule on their website - there's always lots of great classes in a day, and awesome special events happening at Yogashala. I've been practicing here for two years and love it!

the gallery is located just off hey five, and is definitely worth visiting. The theme of the gallery is art by musicians. The collection includes work by Ron Wood, Phil Collins, Andy Garcia and many others who you know. The quality of the pieces will surprise you.
Waterdown has a hidden gem in this gallery - yes some are for sale.

This 5 Pin Bowling Alley is great for the kids & Families.
Service is great, and there is glow in the dark bowling and bumpers!
The Center has been around for Decades, but the new owner has given it a new update and modern vibe.
Prices are more than reasonable & Sunday Fundays are great value!!
Very Clean. Very Fun.
Even the snack bar is awesome!
