The Troia Beach is especially suited for families with small children because it is protected from the usually high waves of the other Beaches in the area. There is a café/restaurant with outside showers. Parking right next to the beach can be a problem but there is ample parking in park houses nearby. From the beach there is also a walk way to Troia Marina with shops and restaurants.

Coming from Setubal by the catamaran, this for people without a car, you arrive at the “Resort” and so you will have to walk a certain distance before you are at the location, when arriving with the ferry and by car, than follow the signs for the “Resort”, and in about less than 5 minutes you will have the ruins on the right side of the road. This ruins should have been the biggest complex for the production of salted fish who has been constructed in the 1th century. This locations can be visited normally but the “basilica paleocrisã” can only be visited with a guide, so ask information about it when you are there. We have been on the location initially of February, but the ruins are closed until the end of February, and you have to make an appointment for the visit, as they wrote on the panel on the street side.

We came from France and chose Sado Emotion to go and see the dolphins. The boat is great, speed guaranteed! The team is just perfect and adorable. Thanks to them for explaining the information in French! In addition to seeing lots of dolphins we also took a ride on the coast. It was wonderful ! The advantage is that we do not go to 50 people but a small group very friendly. I highly recommend it. Go for it !

Rented the boat for my family of 4 including 2 children just for us. Joao Lopes our captain host was such a lovely gentlemen. Took us to see the Dolphins then went around Arrábida and stopped for a dip. Really nice afternoon would highly recommend. Comfortable and well maintained boat. Obrigada Joao !
