La Pointe Marin

This is a nice beach for the family to enjoy. The beach is long, the sand soft and white, the water blue and calm. The beach gets plenty of sun all day as it faces the west. Plenty of trees line the beach, providing ample shade for many. The beach road is lined with lots of restaurants. It seemed to be popular with the locals so it can get crowded.
It's very close to the center of St Anne so it was nice way to spend the day at the beach and then head into town to shop and eat.
It's a great beach for families young and old, large and small.

We spent several days on this beach while on Martinique. It's the tropical beach you've been looking for! White sand and clear water. If you're after more privacy, explore the neighbouring Beaches too - just walk for 5 or 10 min following the shoreline. Some parts can have lots of seaweed.

My wife and I made the short drive from ClubMed to this spot one morning for a hike up the mountain. It was a good workout and we certainly worked up a sweat! However, the trail was well maintained and the views were well worth it.

Ilet Chevalier

It feels like a private beach. for those who like sports , canoes and tours can be attractive . Blue water is hypnotic and white sand is an invitation to " dolce fare niente " required on vacation. It is a family and with lots of greenery beach : towering coconut trees placed in the form of clearing. the beach bar is nice and accessible bathroom, clean and with a very soothing shower , which allows a return without salt water in the body. It was a magnificent day.

Le Moulin de Val d'Or

One of the most larger Moulin in Martinique, very easy access and all restored with detailed visit.
If you are lucky like us, your may be guided by the local historian who built this project, like an encyclopedia of the Martinique, very interesting.
The demonstration includes how slaves were cutting and preparing the sugar cane, then extracting the juce with the real machine.
