Restaurant Hotel La Toubana

We had an amazing lunch here. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the food and drinks were great! I was especially happy that their mojito was not overly sweetened like others I had tried on the island. I ordered the scallops risotto and it was delicious! The portion sizes are perfect, not too much but not too little. We also ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was delectable! The service was prompt and accommodating. Definitely one of our favorite meals on the island.

Le Lucullus

We went for dinner, I was able to make Reservations a few hours before. The inside is nicer than the facade. Bright green chairs and napkins with black heavy placemats.
I got steak aupoivre, not bad, and I was dying for meat. Fries were crispy and hot, with a planteur punch(delicious, with sugared rim). The hubby got kebab mer. Gristle was on 4 out of the 6 chunks. No love went into the grilling, fish was dry with a thimble full of sauce.

Inventive cuisine is based on local product

During our recent five-day stay in St. Francois, we dined at Kote Sud twice. The quality of the cooking and the level of service make this an ideal dining destination. Fresh, local ingredients, prepared with a French-Creole touch, in a lovely setting, fairly priced. Highlight was the mille-feuille of langouste (lobster). Excellent wine list. Cannot overstate how warm and attentive service was. Highly recommended.

The staff here was awesome. They were so friendly even with our language barrier. Our waitress was basically a saint! We went for a late lunch and loved that our feet were in the sand. Prices were reasonable to have an ocean front view, and the drinks were delicious. Fish, sandwiches, and crepes were all tasty.

I ordered 2 dishes because I thought they cost so little there probably wasn't much food lol, was I wrong! I ordered a complete crepe which had egg, weiners, cheese $4 Euros, and chicken that came with fries $6. Needless to say hubby had to eat 1 of the dishes there was so much, both were very good!

Mais we'll be back!!!

Le Coquillage

We arrived at 12. 20 and left at 12.45 without having any chance to order. I have no idea how the meal is, but not getting the order for at least one bottle of water in 25 minutes it does not deserve any patience. It is well located on the beach, but there is no organization, the girls were moving from one side of the restaurant to another one. We left, there are many other choices around the beach at the same price and better services. It is better to check TripAdvisor before going anywhere to eat, it is normal to wait in Guadeloupe but not so much !!!

The restaurant is part of the Pierre Et Vacances resort, pleasantly small and beautifully located on the beach. Unfortunately service is slow and not always friendly, food is just decent: fish is fresh but not interestingly cooked (not tasty), salads are ridiculous as a main (large salads are served in such plates they are barely sufficient as starters).
Desserts are very good, but overall not good value for money.

We've searched the cool fish food truck as we saw the recommends here. Unfortunately the locations were changed just before we arrived, so we needed two times to find them properly, but then we enjoyed the offers very much. High quality fish well prepared at good price-performance - you can't expect more. It's worth to find the truck, but should have a look at first where to find it.
