I live across the road from this lovely church, it looks amazing in all seasons. This year due to Covid they did an online version of Minster's open gardens, check them out on their Facebook page - St Mary's Church Minster in Thanet.

I love it here. It’s like popping over to a friend’s for a pint and a catch up. Because it’s so small and cosy there’s none of the normal settle in to a quiet corner/booth in a big pub and keeping yourself to yourself. You end up talking to everyone and meeting new people each time you go. Gary and Julie make everyone welcome and the drinks are cheap. A good mix of real ales and ciders which is cycled regularly.

Jemima's Locket is a pretty tea room & gift shop in the country village of Minster. We specialise in delicious homemade cakes, speciality teas, coffees and light lunches. If you have a love of shabby chic, vintage china and a cosy friendly environment then this is the place for you!
