I enjoyed the "CUBAN ART NOW" exhibition at Singer Laren.The museum is currently undergoing some construction-work expanding its theater and the sculpture and flower-gardens will be planted by designer Piet Oudolf and opened summer 2018.At the moment of my visit the sculpture Gardens were temporarily covered with lawn to show the ELEFANT PROJECT. I enjoyed seeing the work of contemporary Cuban artists like Jose Emilio Fuentes Fonseca(JEFF),Ibrahim Miranda,Flavio Garciandia,Alejandro Campins and Raul Cordero.There was an exhibition of work for sale by local artists from Laren village as well.

Laren(Noord Holland) was a good-looking rural sheperd's village of thatched cottages in the vast heather and woodland area of "het Gooi" Painters discovered the rural community around 1870.The Larense school was founded 1870-1930 and today Laren (N-H) is a wealthy "millionaire's village"offering upmarked shopping and fine thatched mansions.De Brink is the central village green offering benches under old trees and luxury shopping and charming rural and 1920 Amsterdamse school architecture

This charming small village church dating from 1521 can be seen from central BRINK-LAREN square.I enjoyed the architecture and the lime-stone statue of a sheperd;referring to the humble origins of the nowaday's famous millionaires village.

museum Hofland was leuk om te bezoeken;het is klein en er zijn mooie fossielen n mineralen en de vrijwilligers vertellen veel over de tentoonstellingen.
buiten is de stenentuin met vijver en mini watervalletje.
