Already tried and tested in Antarctic and tropical waters, Selkie is now based on the Isle of Eigg where owner and skipper Celia Bull runs a croft. Celia has spent her life exploring remote and beautiful areas around the world. These days she skippers year-round sailing trips in Scotland for adventurous, creative and curious voyagers. Scheduled trips include voyages to St Kilda and closer to home around the inner Hebrides. Then there’s Selkie’s slow adventure “wellness” sails, developed to combine movement, meditation and healthy, delicious food while sailing and exploring the Small Isles and surrounding areas. Prepare to enjoy walking, swimming, fishing, learning or honing your sailing skills, and eating fine, locally produced food. Each trip explores isolated, beautiful anchorages where you can witness marine wildlife and some of the biggest bird and seal colonies in Europe.

Family run grocery store & post office located in An Laimhrig at the head of the pier on the Isle of Eigg. We stock a variety of ambient, chilled & frozen produce, along with fresh items, such as bread, fruit & vegetables, butcher meat and fish. You can pre-order groceries for your time on Eigg, which we can deliver to your accommodation or you can pop in and collect things when your here!

What can you say, this shop had for its size a great selection of goods AND very reasonably priced too, and the owners would take orders for customers which would be delivered over on the ferry which runs four days a week
