Aurora Cultural Centre

What a beautiful historic building. Love the old creaky wooden floors. This place is worth checking out. My only critique is they need to have some different events. I loved the Dave Gunning show a few years back. But other than that, most activities don't have mass appeal. But I'll be keeping my eye open.

Aurora Arboretum

This is part of the Aurora trail system that passes close to the town hall. The trees are all nicely labelled and there are plenty of stream side flowers and such as well. Nice stroll

Canadian Moments Mural

Reviewed By BoompawsSurfScoter - Helsinki, Finland

Although nice, I would not make a trip for the sake of this mural. It is something to eye-ball for couple minutes, but that is it. In fact, the intersection it is located on is so congested that if you are on o left turning line, you will have plenty of time to look at it.

The Patrick House is a circa 1860 century home and multifaceted art centre. The two main rooms serve as galleries and studio space. A supporter of local art, I offer the gallery to artists for consignment, and personal shows. Instructors are also welcome to rent the space to conduct workshops. We always have local original artwork on display so feel free to visit The Patrick House anytime!

This best thing that I can say about this art gallery is that it is free to enter. Nothing special really, works by local artists that range from mediocre to nice. Let’s just say it’s worth the price of admission and not much more. If you happen to be passing by check it out, but don’t make a special trip just to go there.

Willow Farm, Lakeview & Wimpey Trail

Reviewed By HotnSourforever - Kingston, Jamaica

I discovered the trail by accident while taking a leisure walk along Willow Farm Lane after visiting Graham Parkette and I was completely enthralled by the different trails that formed the Willow Park Lane/Lakeview trail. Parts of it run through residential while others as if you are in deep forest with no civilization around! The trails are not just flats but it offers Valleys and hills (not steep). I had a great time and will continue to explore the Aurora Trail system.
