Checked in on the 1st of September 2020 for a 2 night stay and husband and son having two rounds of golf. Two adults and two children aged 13 and 12. Check in with friendly staff at the pro shop. We had two twin rooms with interconnected rooms, so that meant two bathroom facilities too!! Clean, tidy, tea/coffee facilities, lovely walk in shower unit with plenty of hot water. Basic accommodation but plentiful for us. Golf storage cupboard too!! Opening the windows to the 18th hole (I’m not the golfer but it was a very beautiful view). 4 minute walk to the beach over the dunes, lovely and quiet. Train runs behind the club and you cross the tracks to get to the golf club, very different. The club house had a varied and lovely menu, tapas on offer all day too, fabulous food and we enjoyed full breakfast and lovely lunches there!! Freshly Cooked, friendly waiting on and kitchen staff and a very funny and endearing bar man (Denny)...inexpensive drinks menu, great choices of beers on tap. The home made cakes on offer were to die for, I had an Eccles cake and kids had a banana bread slice and both absolutely delicious. Covid19 safety was taken seriously and was very well executed.... The golf course was interesting and challenging apparently and both enjoyed the course and my son also had a golf lesson with Rich, who was also very lovely and encouraging... Lovely members who happily welcomed us into their facilities for the two nights stay. We will return...thank you all ????????
