What a beautiful place to visit on a lovely summer's day! We had to queue to get into the tower, but not for too long and visitor safety is obviously paramount at the moment which is reassuring. A flight of twisty stone steps takes you to three separate floors with displays and information about the history of the tower, the connection to William Morris and World War Two. And then you reach the top where the views over the surrounding countryside are spectacular! It's such a beautiful part of the world. Then we wound our down again and enjoyed our picnic, plenty of places to pitch your own chairs plus lots of picnic benches too. Then we enjoyed the circular walk from the car park back to the tower, very scenic. Had a cup of tea and a piece of lemon drizzle cake from the cafe in the sunshine. Just perfect! Bear in mind the toilets are closed so if you need to powder your nose you will have to grin and bear the portaloo! A thoroughly enjoyable day spent here.

Great play park, biggest I’ve seen. The girls loved it. Loads of space to run around in. Food for picnics - relies mostly on grass as few benches.

We are a third generation family farm set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Hills overlooking Broadway and the Vale of Evesham. Lavender was first planted here in 2000 in fields previously used to grow wheat and barley. We produce the highest quality English Lavender Essential Oil. We now have over 35 different varieties, some 70 miles of rows, and 250,000 plants in total. Our crops are steam distilled on the farm and made into our unique lavender products, all proudly made in Great Britain.• You can walk the fields when the Lavender is in full bloom• See the harvest and Distillation when it takes place (usually end of July)• We have a Tea Room and Gift shop• The Tea Room serves light lunches, cream teas and cakes• Our Gift Shop sells our whole range of products plus much, much more. Admission to fields £3.50 adult £2.50 children (5-16 years)Under 5’s FREE Well behaved dogs on leads welcomed OPEN June to August - see our website for further details. We like to source as many locally made foods and produce for our tearoom. This was our 2nd visit to these beautiful lavender fields in the Cotswolds - our first was back in 2017. Whilst being very busy (we arrived at about 11 am) it didn't take too long to get in and, once inside, it was easy to social distance due to the size of the site. The entrance fee is very reasonable at £4 per adult and £2 per child and there are plenty of picnic benches available if you want to bring your own snacks or picnic. We enjoyed a delicious lavender ice-cream from the new pop-up kiosk (main shop is currently closed) and then enjoyed watching the numerous butterflies and bumble bees visiting the flowers as we took some lovely family photos.
