An excellent facility for young, old, experienced or novice climbers. Very friendly atmosphere, staff and other users only too happy to help you figure routes out. The routes are changed regularly so little chance of getting bored with the same climbs. The cafe is cheap and cheerful. I’m a regular visitor, once or twice per week.

This was such a great trip out. Gary and Keith are super friendly & knowledgeable, you get really up close to the birds & see their characters. Totally recommend any of the experiences, we did the hour hawk walk. Could do it all again tomorrow!

We visited on the 25th August as a damp day in Cumbria and we had great fun Three adults and a teenager and we worked well as a team to unlock the door We did the Surelock Holmes room which was well organised and interesting mix of clues Definitely recommend this for an alternative to the lakes and castles!

What a gem of a place, from the outside it looks so small but when you go inside its like a Tardis. The owner is passionate about everything on display and will answer any questions you may have with enthusiasm. There are gardens for the kids to play and some animals for them to meet { weather permitting } If you have any interest at all in old motorcycles, old memorabilia or just interesting things this place is defiantly worth a visit.
