Chilo Lock 34 Park

Reviewed By 411judin - Sardinia, United States

Very interesting Museum if you are interested in the Ohio River and the history surrounding the locks and how they operate. There are many "hands on" things to do and see, many pictures of the major floods, the time where the river was dry enough to walk across and the time it was frozen enough to walk on the ice. They have a Historian/Tour Guide who will walk you through and explain the history of the Ohio River. They have 2 nice covered picnic areas, a playground for the kids and a Nature Trail.
