The 6 Best Spas & Wellness in Kingston, Kingston Parish

February 12, 2022 Florencio Paulino

Far from the north coast resort towns, Kingston is Jamaica at its most authentic, a sprawling city of contrasts spread between the east coast and the Blue Mountains. Kingston's diversity is reflected in its disparate neighborhoods, from the wealthy northern suburbs to the less affluent downtown. Travelers can discover the spirit of One Love at the Bob Marley Museum, or sample delicious ice cream at Devon House. Nearby, the former capital of Spanish Town offers insight into the area's history.

Bikram Yoga Jamaica

I had an amazing time. Although I was the only person at the 5:30am session I had a wonderful experience with the instructor. I’ve taken several hot yoga classes back in the U.S. but this was extraordinary- I’m thinking it was the instructors accent that made it so authentic. As the title indicated the facility hands down was the cleanest public space I’ve seen in a very long time. And the staff were both beautiful ladies. Keep up the spectacular work.

This is a fabulous experience! The place is beautiful, and Desmond’s massage is amazing. It lasted for ages 45mins - an hour... hot towel wrap from the surprisingly ‘warm’ healing waters, aromatic oil massage and stretch, mud rub and rinse off under the bamboo foundation of hot spring water, then a cool off in the river... all for JS$2000... what’s not to love? The fish soup and festival afterwards was the start of some very chilled New Year celebrations. Thank you; we will be back.

Last month I got a birthday treat to a rain forest full body massage. It was my second time being there and the service was just as good as the first. My massage therapist, Orlando did a phenomenal job he was very professional, courteous, and pleasant. Definitely will be going back!
