The 6 Best Sights & Landmarks in Boloto, Central Russia

March 5, 2022 Randal Brittian

The political, scientific, historical, architectural and business center of Russia, Moscow displays the country's contrasts at their most extreme. The ancient and modern are juxtaposed side by side in this city of 10 million. Catch a metro from one of the ornate stations to see Red Square, the Kremlin, the nine domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, the KGB Museum and other symbols of Moscow's great and terrible past, then lighten up and shop Boulevard Ring or people watch in Pushkin Square.

Luzhkov Bridge

Reviewed By KatrinaMolini - Corciano, Italy

I’ve been here two times, once during the day, with friends, and another time during the evening, with my husband. Both times it was not planned and very enjoyable. The bridge is also known as Tretyakov bridge as a part of the Tretyakov gallery complex and the bridge of kisses where the lovers seal their love with the lock that they put on the tree on the bridge. The trees are made of metal. There was only one tree installed in 2007, as an art piece. When the locks put on it were too many, they added more trees. From time to time they take off some locks as the trees get overwhelmed. From one of the bridge sides there is also a reconciliation bench (with the wings) that is made in the way that if two people sat on the sides of it, they would slide in the middle. Very cute. In the evening there were some lights and the view was quite romantic.
