I loved the replica 1860s gold rush shops and street, it was fantastic. I felt like I was back in the 1860s where there were no telephones, tv or internet, and only horses for transport. And for such a small entry fee, it was way better than over priced tourist attractions like sovereign hill. This is a must do if you’re in Beechworth.

Well worth visit. This was a working courthouse and after its closure all the furniture and fittings have been kept. Lots of history in this building with helpful staff ready to answer any questions

Billson’s Brewery is a fantastic place to visit, even for the kids! You can taste test there whole range from vodka, beer and cordials! No charge to taste test and it’s fun for the kids - we loved the cordials and came home with 8bottles ranging from $8.50 - $12 each, they are delicious mixed with lemonade or mineral water. The new owners have kept true to the history of Billsons and have done an amazing job re-opening this iconic brewery. The owners and staff are super lovey and accommodating. There is so much to explore around the brewery including old brewing/bottling equipment, carriages and an old school barber room. The food is sensational and there is a cool Speak Easy Gin Room downstairs with some board games and big comfy chairs. You can easily spend a few hours there - taste testing, exploring, having lunch & a drink or 2! We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.

Well worth a visit. So many areas to wonder around - garden, gallery & basement. Great metal art work, especially garden decorations, on site.
