So helpful with suggestions for excursions. Excellent bars and restaurants just around the corner. Could not have asked for more. We will definitely be back.

The location is excellent ...4km from SORRENTO ...high up in the hills beside St. Agata village where there are local supermarkets and fruit markets and restaurants. If you drive there is free parking at the hotel. Otherwise, there is a bus stop outside the Pergoletta for trips to Positano and Amalfi and SORRENTO. If you are travelling from Naples airport you can get a bus for ten euro to SORRENTO train/bus station. From the station you can get a bus to Pergoletta Hotel cost 1.30 euro. This is a family run Hotel with 30 rooms and a swimming pool.. They provide an Italian healthy continental breakfast plus delicious scrambled eggs. Luigi and Antonio and their Dad run the Pergoletta and they are most kind and helpful with a smile always. The Pergoletta is so clean. Housekeeping every day. Evening meals are available at La Pergoletta. They have an excellent Chef who can cook fresh steak and fresh fish dishes as well as our favourite italian cuisine. There was a fridge in the room for our bottled water and treats. The views are amazing from the balcony of the countryside and the sea. On a personal note, the air is much more healthy here and it’s away from the tourist crowd and the family are so friendly and professional. It cannot be beaten on good value for money. The family gave us a nice gift when we left yesterday which was so caring and we cannot wait to return. We just love the place and we are seasoned travellers. We highly recommend La Pergoletta.

Reviewed By SoloManuel1Stayed in room 215 , mosquitoes in room , view of next doors roof so kept shutters closed. Shower cubicle narrow , unable to move , large outlet pipe above , possibly allowing mosquitoes in . Flush very hard to push , then over 5 minutes later the noise loud and disturbing from the plumbing. The beds and mattresses were old and squeaky , the pillows history , questionable. The staff were faultless and work hard , the room clean as towels and sheets were changed. This area of Italy is known for it's produce and even the coffee was undrinkable, the bread was stale . We bought fruit , he had issues washing it for us he was rude.

Reviewed By JD25592Everything about this hotel is perfect! The rooms are large and the bathrooms were modern and very clean. The staff made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel is also superb and very reasonably priced. The location is very good with a short distance to the small quaint town with shops a some brilliant restaurants . The only downfall is the walk back to the hotel as it's up a steep hill. The distance to Sorrento is not terrible as you can get a 30min bus from the centre of town. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
