Welcome to the Claremont Hotel. We are a small, privately-owned hotel centrally positioned in the heart of Polperro, less than three minutes walk from what is probably the prettiest fishing harbour in south east Cornwall. The Hotel faces south overlooking the valley and rooftops, and is ideally positioned for the village attractions and facilities. Please note: we are an exclusively adult-only 18+ hotel and we are dog-friendly in selected rooms.

Reviewed By kppixieFrom the minute we arrived we were made welcome, from the lovely smiles, the information given about the hotel, the local area and attention to detail. The hotel is spotless! Our dog Magpie was greeted as a member of their family! The staff, Stuart, Juliet, Diane and Becky worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was happy, nothing was a problem. We were in room 1, up to the top of the stairs facing the road. It was so clean, a huge bed, lovely bedding. A little fridge with fresh milk provided (daily), biscuits and tea/coffee/kettle. A proper sized hairdryer in the room, a bonus! A doggy bag for Magpie, a bowl and a sausage for breakfast. The breakfast was something else! So much choice, vegan and vegetarian, cooked breakfast, cereals, juices, pastries, cereal, granola, yoghurt … I could go on! The staff work so hard, always happy and so attentive. Places to sit in the lounge area, doggy blankets, brollies for guests and an honesty bar which included snacks and drinks. The car park which is opposite the hotel was a god send, everyone has a space, you have to drive through the street to reach the hotel/car park. Thank you all for making our stay at the Claremont Hotel a memorable one. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it is truly amazing!

Reviewed By Andy11111112Really really lovely place to stay, the hosts Simon and Maz are super helpful. We had a 7 month old baby and they went out of their way to ensure any needs were met - wonderful. Breakfast - awesome - and it wasn’t just given - you are consulted and on our final day we essentially had a packed breakfast for our trip back to Heathrow. I don’t think you’ll do better and we wish them every success Andy, Vicky and Amber

Reviewed By Trousers99Polperro is a lovely fishing village and Milly’s is just 5 minutes up the road, opposite the Crumplehorn Inn (which was very busy but served good food for dinner). The B&B is in a very old building, so the room was small but very pretty. The welcome was very warm and the breakfast excellent

The perfect wedding venue
Reviewed By C1235GDhannahcWe got married at Trenderway Farm last month and we cannot recommend it enough. The venue is beautiful inside and out. There are multiple options for ceremony space, whether you want a rustic indoor ceremony in their beautiful barn, or an outdoor ceremony over looking the lake. The accommodation is 5* and views are stunning. The staff are all incredible and made sure that our day was perfect and stress free from start to finish. Special thanks go to Jess and Eddy who worked tirelessly around the venue and behind the bar. The wedding coordinator, Cathryn, was amazing. From the moment we looked around the venue, right up to the day she had everything under control. During the lead up to the wedding she took charge and made sure that I had no worries at all. And on the day I didn’t think once about what was happening, or what needed to happen. The perfect venue and the perfect team to make it all happen. Thank you all so much!

House on the Props is a Grade 2 listed 16th Century timber built property overlooking Polperro Harbour. All Bedrooms are on the second Floor, All en-suite two with harbour views, Two double and one twin bedroom.
We wanted a fishy meal for lunch - and we got it!
Reviewed By NEILHURSTPIERPOINTA fascinating building down by the harbour. We felt like a seafood lunch. I had mussels and my wife, scallops. Absolutely delicious. The staff, so very friendly, helpful but with a good sense of humour. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic B & B
Reviewed By AnnTeignmouthFive Trees has been taken over by Jane and Anthony who have completely renovated the premises you can still smell the new carpet. They are excellent hosts and as they have lived in Polperro all their lives they have a wealth of local knowledge. There is private off road parking at the front of the house and you can walk down to the village in just a few minutes. The breakfasts were wonderful and it is definitely the best B & B we have stayed at in a long while. You will not be disappointed.
