A very kind place
Reviewed By Zoltán BThe hotel looks not so atractive from outside, however it is very confortable and clean from inside. The rooms are fair, the bath is very clean. Especially I would like to remember about the staff. Perhaps the best and most kind staff I ever met. Also, the food in the restaurant is perfect.

Reviewed By Henry TI stayed here totally by chance. Its jaw-droppingly beautiful. The house is perfectly serene and composed outside, yet when you enter, its clear that this is a palace. A thing of significance. The owners are just the sweetest couple - this house is their business, but also their pride and joy. Its the stuff of dreams. So so lovely. Very special. I really don't have the words to describe it.

Comfortable stay and friendly assistance
Reviewed By Kristof DWe stayed over at hotel Doria when we were touring on bicycles through Italy. We arrived last minute but the staff made it work to get us the last room. Because we had bikes the woman at the desk helped us bring our baggage in and secured them in storage for the night. All correspondence with the staff was friendly. The room was very standard but what you expect from a three star hotel: clean, tidy with modern furniture and air-conditioning. Pricing was also very reasonable even in high season. The only thing we think the hotel could improve on is maybe include fruit on the complementary breakfast. All in all we were happy with our stay and would recommend people to go to hotel Doria when staying in Ostiglia.

Our Guest House “ Ponte dei Tedeschi”, is situated in the heart of the beautiful Mantova countryside close to the banks of the river Po and the Isola Boschina nature reserve. Originally a working farm dating back to 1700, it has been lovingly restored and offers good quality guest house accommodation for short, medium or long stays. Open year round, we offer tastefully furnished rooms, some with original antique furniture, private bathrooms, air conditioning and TV. Alternatively, there are fully furnished spacious apartments complete with a fully equipped kitchen suitable for guests looking to be completely self sufficient.We live here too and you can be assured of a warm welcome.
Not a good choice
Reviewed By lisomiI stayed at this B&B with my boyfriend on a 'smart box' voucher. there are 5 rooms, ours was looking over the road and if we kept the windows open we could well hear the noise from trucks and cars passing by. I tried to contact the owner in order to inform that I was allergic and needed gluten-free products. He never replied, when I got him on the phone he did not give any definite reason... I contacted him again about 30 min before reaching the hotel, he 'forgot' to tell me that the road leading to his B&B was closed and that I needed to take another way. the furniture and the structure in the room and in the shared rooms are old but not entertained with almost no attention to details, our bathroom dated from the 70s let you imagine the shower! The breakfast, apart from one home-baked cake and a pear marmelade, is of industrial, ready to use products. Wi-Fi could not be used in the rooms or that maybe was simply turned off during the night. It is NOT a quiet place as they describe.

Elisabetta è molto accogliente e ti mette a tuo agio con discrezione. La colazione ottima, con dolci appena sfornati e un servizio impeccabile, completano la valutazione da dieci e lode.
