Ours is a three star category hotel. Total built up area 55000 sq ft. Minimum room size 144 sq ft. It is a fully a/c property & all rooms have balcony. The hotel has full dg back up, separate guest and service lifts. 10000 sq ft car parking. Drivers' dorm.

Reviewed By UmabhattaInspite of being a regular guest the receptionist rudely informs u of the tariff and the taxes. Prices vary every now and then. Very poor quality staff who does not understand basic word of hospitality. Over priced food. Over prices hotel

Nice accomodation in heart of Berhampore
Reviewed By moumi45963We stayed for 8 days in Hotel Sonali Bangla in October , 2019. It is a very nice hotel at the heart of Berhampore and pretty close to bus station and not so far from railway station too. The location and facilities provided is worth every penny spent. Rooms are big enough and fitted with modern amenities. Rooms have attached toilet and both are pretty clean. Housekeeping is done every day. The hotel has a nice restaurant at ground floor and offer s a variety of foods for palate. The best part we liked about the hotel is coutsey and accomodating behavior of staffs. They were very willing to make our stay comfortable and tried their best to provide us best of comfort, even during the crowded hours during Durga Puja. The hotel is highly recommend for staying.

Very nice to visit again
Reviewed By stantp1916I came around here about a year ago. It was great to come back again. Good thing about them is that they have kept their tariff constant. We booked the same category room as last time and this time too they charged ₹999 which was great actually considering that most other hotels would have increased tariff in one year and its getting around the peak season for places like Berhampore. They are also strict on documentation of their guests which means you don’t get to have troublesome guests in this hotel. It’s perfect for family stay. One great thing I observed this time was they have taken care of the water logging in the basement parking. Rest of it remains same.

Reviewed By chatterjeejyotithe place was a disappointment, but the staff and the owner were too good. I cannot give a review as i dont want to bias people about the place. Maybe it will be amazing for others, but for me it was a bit of disappointment.

If you dont want to spend too much and need a basic comfortable stay with your family then hotel shivam is an excellent place. the problem is far away from railway station .... but you will get taxi, auto ricksaw
