Great food in a lovely location

The food is superb with decent ingredients that are well prepared and presented. The price is pretty competitive too for what you are getting. The staff are really friendly and attentive and helpful. The location is great too, not just the visit to the town but also inside. Nice decor, spotless clean, everything you could want. This place is a real asset.

Wedding stay with family

Reviewed By Trek54350994328

We stayed here with family for our wedding. From when we first booked, including our stay, Petra was unbelievably helpful and accommodating. On the morning of our wedding, Petra and Lisa were very helpful and made everyone in the bridal party relaxed. They even helped with printing out several copies of our speeches! We had our family stay too, who thoroughly enjoyed both the house and surrounding areas. It was an added bonus that we could bring our dog too. Our party started in all rooms bar one and would definitely recommend them all. The grounds are beautiful and made for a stunning backdrop for our morning wedding photos. The breakfast was continental with a good selection of tasty options. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much Petra, Dave and Lisa!

Arrived just after opening one menu on bar for whole room covered in food stains. Limited choice food £12 for a very basic lasagna.place very dated looks since change of ownership now concentrating on wet sales at expense of food. Dont think will be returning in a hurry

The Angel Inn Salem

Hidden gem would be an understatement

Reviewed By N230JRdonnaw

Would highly recommend The Angel Inn a hundred times over for food, drink, atmosphere and a place to stay! Norelle (apologies if I’ve spelt this wrong!) and Alex were fantastic and faultless, we could not have asked for a better stay for the weekend. We will definitely be returning later in the year for another stay and we look forward to the incredible breakfasts! ?
