One of the first luxury hotels in Corfu, this hotel is the only one in the island with a direct view to the famous ‘Mouse Island’’ the trademark of Corfu Island. Set in magnificent landscaped gardens /45000 sq. m./ with an abundance of pine- eucalyptus and cypress trees, well maintains its prominent position amongst Corfu’s top hotels. The hotel is very close to Corfu town and also nearby the major archaeological sites offering the perfect base for those seeking to explore the island.

Reviewed By jimcK7736EXStayed here half board in may. Don’t be put off by the fact if your room overlooks the lake/ lagoon it also overlooks the runway of the airport. The flights seem to stop by midnight or before so it’s not a problem. The hotel is spacious , very clean and well laid out. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful in all roles. The food was very good with lots of choice both at Breakfast and Dinner. The pool area is very nice and has both a bar and snack bar and towels are provided. In the pool area there is a lady who runs an Aqua aerobics class in the pool most days except the weekends. Please take part or go up and watch she is very funny and a very good teacher. There’s a lift from the pool area down to the beach where there is a snack bar and drinks bar, sun beds and umbrellas are available free to guests. From the beach it’s only a short walk to Vlacherna and along the jetty are boats that will take you to Mouse Island for 2€. You can also walk across the causeway toward Perama. There is also a lovely Taverna at the jetty which catch’s the sun well into the evening where you can watch the aircraft coming in over Vlacherna and the causeway to touch down. Kanoni is quite a pretty area and the hotel is only20 mins. walk to Mon Repo which is worth a visit. There is a good bus service into Corfu town and takes around 15-20 mins. depending where you get off. If you are booking a trip with a hotel pick up stipulate that your pick up is CORFU HOLIDAY PALACE as there are three hotels with Corfu Palace in the name two in Kanoni and one in Corfu town. If the bus doesn’t turn up after 5 minutes ring the number you will have been given. I would certainly recommend Corfu Holiday Palace.

Service in the restaurant is shocking, they constantly run out of items and don’t replenish, staff just appear to shrug, no desserts on last night, food lukewarm! Tables are cleared but never set for the next sitting, often no cutlery or glasses left. No snacks as advertised apart from a plate of curled sandwiches at 4 by the pool, nothing for the kids. Grounds are so neglected, broken paving and weeds everywhere. Pool is always full of flies and plastic cups which are blown into the pool as staff don’t collect them in and there left all day. Rooms cleaned daily, however they forgot to replenish towels, when my partner went to collect some from reception as I’d already got in the shower they said they’d call the housekeeper but she may be busy, so drip dry it was as they arrived several hours later. This could be a lovely place with a bit of basic staff training and basic customer service.

Very nice hotel -- but across from the airport runway
Reviewed By Peter BThe newer and larger hotels are located on the outskirts of Corfu Town near the airport. In fact, I could see the terminal and runway from my room. Fortunately, the airport is not too busy so the takeoff noise was not bad. There is a bus stop very near to the hotel that takes you to and from Corfu Town. Take the #2. The room was basically new with a great bed and the hotel itself very quiet. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very good.

The staff are all amazing, Mike and Nikos who worked the bar looked after us, they work very hard as do all the staff here. The food is lovely we stayed on all inclusive basis. The rooms are clean, shower only small but adequate. The views from here are fantastic and if you pop up the road to Kanoni cafe also wonderful views. Loved every minute of our stay so sad to go home, but we will be back, that is a promise. So a big Thank-you and lots of hugs to you all for taking care of us during our holiday xxx Daz and Bev xxxx

We wanted to stay close to Corfu Town and found it a very pleasant walk to the centre, past archeological ruins and Mon Repos (Prince Philip's birth place), which you can explore. Then you pick up the shore and walk around to the town, through lovely parks and cafes. For 8 Euros you can catch a taxi back....or indeed the Blue Buses from the centre of Corfu Town. A short walk in the other direction takes you to SkyView....where you can enjoy a view of Mouse Island whilst drinking a cold beer. The hotel staff are amazing...always there for you. The room was cleaned to a very high standard..... every day. The food was absolutley superb. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Corfu and dinner was delicious......one of the best. All credit to the Hotel Management and new Chefs who have been pro-active to make enormous improvements in this area. I honestly couldn't fault the hotel.....a fantastic week at an amazing price.
