Hotel ¨Galini¨ is built on the seaside of Itea with an excellent view to the Corinthian Gulf. The rooms, the bar and the lounge of the hotel were completely refurbished in 2006.

Reviewed By UridoIt’s is a small hotel on the main street of Itea. We stayed there for a week in October, which is actually already Off Season. In addition the world pandemic crisis caused that very few guests were in the hotel and not many tourists in the area. At the time we were there the area was COVID-19 green. The hotel is owned by a family and they actually are the staff. The front desk is manned for 24/7. They ask you to leave your room key at the reception. It’s an old hotel tradition and it did not bother us. They also make sure everyone wears masks while inside the lobby and elevator. Best location in Itea. On the main street facing the sea. Lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. A couple of supermarkets are also very close. Across the street some coffee shops on the pier along the city promenade. The advantage of the location is also its disadvantage. Heavy traffic day and night. Greek motorcyclists remove the mufflers and engine silencers and the noice they make is enormous. Sometimes until 2AM. During our stay we always found parking available. The rooms are spacious and simple. Small TV, Refrigerator, A/C and safe in the room. Old furniture and a bit hard beds. Bathroom and shower extremely small. Some small essentials are missing, like towel hooks near the sink. Best part of the room is it’s balcony facing the pier and the promenade. Breakfast is on the 4th floor and over a large rooftop . Great place to start your day. Breakfast is basic but in my humble opinion is all you need. Fresh bread, yellow cheese, freshly made omelette, tasty Greek olives and above all their rich and creamy yogurt. Coffee is good and my tip, try the yogurt with honey. Great and very friendly service. It’s a 3 stars hotel, prices during this time are low and if we are again in this beautiful area of the Gulf of Corinth we will stay there.

A very clean hotel
Reviewed By Tasos AI was impressed about hospitality of this hotel. I stayed for 8 days at the end of April. Although it is an old hotel it is very well maintained for its age. It is very clean with daily cleaning of the rooms and change of towels. The maintenance of the very good level all facilities I think is due to the very familiar with the hotel issues, owner Andreas Kalafatis and his son who must be an expert of the kind. The rooms overlooking the sea have a very good view of the Corinthian gulf. Therefore, prefer rooms from the third, fourth and fifth floor. Parking is convenient on the outside outside of the hotel. WiFi is free and very good in all areas of the hotel. The beach for swimming is only 100 meters from the hotel and with several picturesque fish tavern one near it. Overall I was very happy with my stay. This can be seen from the constant visit to this hotel of the racing crews of the Acropolis International Rally, where this hotel collects the foam of the WRC drivers. It's a hotel I would recommend!

Newer, spotless hotel with beach at the west end of town.

Check in was quick with copying 1 passport, acquiring the room key and off to their large elevator and the 3rd floor. Premium Room #302 was wood floored, spacious and opened to a fully outfitted bathroom with 40 second hot water and a shower stall, then a closet with refer, very comfortable queen bed, large TV with excellent reception of many Greek channels (BBC, HAEKTRA TV/TRTWorld movies, shows on EPT2/3, OpenBeyond & mTV- all in English), a desk with chair, then a rocking chair next to a complicated coffee machine & hot pot. Insulated French doors with screens and shutters opened to a large balcony with table/chairs and a view over the promenade, beach and the Gulf of Iteas. The secure room WIFI was excellent, 4 room outlets, good lighting, remote control for AC/heat and a quiet night’s sleep. The 7:30 AM breakfast served in the lobby dining area was fair; OJ, yogurt, fruit, several breads with jam, 2 types of eggs, cereals(no muesli) and very weak normal coffee(no cream). This is a nice clean hotel with 29 rooms and friendly staff providing beautiful sea and mountain views.

Reviewed By FOTIStheGREEKΑρχικά είχαμε σκοπό να μείνουμε ένα διήμερο και να έχουμε το κατάλυμα ως ορμητήριο για τις εξορμήσεις μας στα γειτονικά σημεία αρχαιολογικού, ιστορικού και φυσιολατρικού ενδιαφέροντος. Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία στο σημείο ένωσης δύο μικρών κολπίσκων. Στο τέλος παραθαλάσσιου δρόμου όπου αρχίζει παραλία για λουόμενους. Parking δίπλα από τη θάλασσα και μπροστά στο σπίτι. Νεόδμητο παραθαλάσσιο οίκημα, μας παρείχε όλες τις ανέσεις. Μείναμε στο άνετο δωμάτιο του πάνω ορόφου με την φανταστική θέα στη θάλασσα και στο Μοριά. Μεγάλο μπαλκόνι με δυο καναπέδες, κρεβάτι-ξαπλώστρα και τραπέζι γευμάτων. Δεν θέλαμε να σηκωθούμε καν από εκεί για να μην αφήσουμε ούτε λεπτό από τα μάτια μας αυτή τη φανταστική θέα. Αυτός ήταν και ο κύριος λόγος που τις τελευταίες βραδιές αράζαμε μπαλκονάρα και προτιμούσαμε delivery για δείπνο. Εξαιρετική ποιότητα στο καθετί, τόσο στο εξωτερικό όσο και στο εσωτερικό. Μοντέρνα επίπλωση, υπέρδιπλο κρεβάτι, αναπαυτικό στρώμα, πολυτελή κλινοσκεπάσματα και μαξιλάρια, πληθώρα επώνυμων ηλεκτρικών συσκευών, μεγάλος καναπές-κρεβάτι(βολεύτηκε τέλεια ο μικρός), θεματική βιβλιοθήκη αλλά και δισκοθήκη σε βινύλιο με πικάπ και πάρα πολλά άλλα που αυτή τη στιγμή μου διαφεύγουν. Έμφαση στη λεπτομέρεια, αστείρευτη φαντασία, κομψά αυτοσχέδια χειροτεχνήματα και φωτιστικά, όλα φτιαγμένα με μεράκι από τα χέρια του ιδιοκτήτη κ.Νικηφόρου είναι τα χαρακτηριστικά της διακόσμησης που συνθέτουν ένα εντυπωσιακό όμορφο κι αρμονικό σύνολο. Supermarket, ψαροταβέρνες, restaurant, ψιλικά αλλά κι ένα αρκετά καλό ζαχαροπλαστείο όλα στα 5-10' με τα πόδια. Αρκετά ζεστή η θάλασσα για την εποχή, ευχαριστηθήκαμε κολύμβηση. Εντυπωσιασμένοι από όλα και κυρίως από τις απίστευτες οικογενειακές στιγμές ηρεμίας που βιώσαμε, μείναμε τελικά 4 βράδια. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στην κυρία Ελένη που μας βοήθησε σε ότι extra χρειαστήκαμε για το παιδί. Συγχαρητήρια στον ιδιοκτήτη κ.Νικηφόρο.Άριστος οικοδεσπότης και εξαιρετικός άνθρωπος, μας κέρδισε από την πρώτη στιγμή με τη συμπεριφορά και το χαρακτήρα του. Στα 4 βράδια που μείναμε δεν βρήκαμε κάτι αρνητικό που να μας ενοχλήσει. Η σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής είναι κάτι παραπάνω από άριστη. Αν σταθείτε τυχεροί να βρείτε το ''Κalafatis beach home'' διαθέσιμο στις ημερομηνίες που επιθυμείτε, μην το σκέφτεστε καν και προχωρήστε σε κράτηση αμέσως. Μην παραλείψετε φεύγοντας να προμηθευτείτε ένα θαυμάσιο κι εύγευστο μέλι που πέρα από την εξαιρετική του ποιότητα θα σας θυμίζει και τις όμορφες και ξένοιαστες μέρες των διακοπών σας στην Κίρρα, το αρχαίο λιμάνι των Δελφών!
