Our family made the dream of our lives come true, one of elegance and smart simplicity. It is a unique hosting and traditional destination which will make you feel like home! We materialized our dream in Easter of 2007 in the back yard of our traditional family house which was situated in the Centre of the village next to the village square where an age-long plane and St. Demetrio's old bell tower. Two stone of simple yet unique construction buildings, offer breathtaking view of the village of Ano Pedina and make a real hospitable and traditional retreat in Zagori. Here, in Pirrion Hotel****sweet hospitality, nature meets tradition. The comforts of modern decoration meet the owners' warm hospitality.

Reviewed By victoriafromgreecewhat to say about Pirrion, its hospitality and its people!! We stayed 3 marvelous nights at an amazing suite, and we loved it form the first moment. The comfy bed, the bathroom, the jacuzzi and the living area were so relaxing! Just like home! I have to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with localities, marmalades and cakes, savory variety and sweet heaven, cheese, eggs, salami options, rice pudding, pancakes, everything was hype!! We had so many unforgettable experiences, the spa, hammam and massage by our therapist was great and very professional. We enjoyed it a lot!! The restaurant Skantzochiros, offers very tasty cuisine, greek with local tastes, the best soups, the great wine list, all is amazing, I wish we have tried more! Finally I have to speak about the people, Dimitra the hotel manager is just the best! Professional but friendly, she is there for all customers, and she is doing her best in order to please you! Can't wait to visit the hotel also in spitting or summer time!!

Ano Pedina is a small village, that you would not normally include in your itinerary while visiting Zagorohoria... we were sooo pleasantly surprised. Lovely hosts, excellent room in a tastefully decorated and built guesthouse, great breakfast, and overall an experience we would like to live again. Do not hesitate to book if you can find a room amongst the many foreign visitors that come for trecking etc. We were offered a suite for our family of four and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Terrible hospitality! Stay away!!!
Reviewed By Raanan FI do not like to write something bad about a place I was hosted but this time it is inevitable. We experienced in this hotel the most horrible and terrible hospitality we have experienced in all of Greece. The hotel is located in the village of Ano Padina, the rooms are terribly small and not suitable for three people. At the end of the day when we returned to the hotel , we were surprised to find that the hotel owner forgot to turn on our boiler and we had to shower in cold water! And the highlight of the scum was breakfast at 10 euros per person! (30 euros for three people) which is a completely exorbitant price for breakfast (you know how much you can eat for 30 euros in a restaurant lunce/dinner in Greece ??) But the owner of the hotel (who thinks he is also a chef) promised a special and unusual breakfast... he served us turbid soup (in the morning!), Salad, some cheese and sausage and that's it. No eggs, no pie, no yogurt, nothing. It was a theft in broad daylight and we went out hungry and angry. The whole attitude was shameful and disappointing. We will never go back!!!
