Agriturismo Terranova

Delightful surprise in the country

Reviewed By sueandgb2017

Our friends booked Agriturisimo Terranova notreally knowing what to expect. Usually we all look for a local hotel in the town, this time thought it might be fun to be just outside Pisticci in the country. We arrived to a lovely welcome from Gaillo who showed us our rooms and gave details of local restaurants etc. The landscape setting of the cottages is very beautiful. Green hills of olive trees , fruit and nut and vineyards surround. The cottages are very spacious, spotlessly clean, crisp white sheets and lovely decor. Breakfast of fresh figs and grapes, yoghurts, juices , focaccia, croissants plus Prosecco to top it all of! Extraordinary and gave us a great start to the journey that followed. Absolutely choose Agriturisimo Terranova to stay, comfort, surrounds and price of accommodation could not be better? Sue & Glenn Brisbane Australia

Dimora Tre Cancelli

A peaceful breath of fresh air!

This wonderful hotel is tucked away in a beautiful corner of Basilicata surrounded by tall oak trees and fresh mountain air. You can admire the Dolomiti Lucane from the Dimora. The interior is decorated with lovely furniture and art work from West Africa. It is close to many beautiful sights and the management is excellent and very friendly.

Colazione abbondante e gustosa!!

Stay was too short.

Proprietor Rocco Mauro went out of his way to assist us during our stay. He was translator, host, and social director. A memorable stay that was too short in this clean, comfortable, beautifully renovated lodging.

B&B La Cannalia

Nice family house in wooden valley.

Reviewed By Mika K

La Cannalia is a big family house in a wooden valley, located in beautiful Mountains of southern Basilicata. House is very well equipped, have a big kitchen and a dining room. There is also a garage for one car. House is surrounded by quite big garden with some sitting / relaxing equipment. Room was nice as well as bathroom. WiFi worked well and card payment was no problem. There is no cash machine in nearest villages/towns so it's good to come with some cash in your pocket. The house-boss lady Giuditta was very friendly and accomodating. She told me lot of things despite my near zero knowledge of Italian and seemed, that she doesn't care :D
