Reviewed By D5025DVluciapI visited this hotel in 2018. It is a nice hotel, big and confortable rooms. Very good location near the lake and near a lot of restaurants and shops. We have an inconvenience staying here. One night at 3 am while sleeping, a man came into the room from the balcony and robbed some of our stuff. We made the police complaint. At first he is caught by the hotel camaras walking down the hallway of our floor. Then, he enters from outside (balcony). So PLEASE! Check that your windows and balcony door are closed. If the locks are damaged and do not close correctly as ours, I recommend you to ask for another room. It was not a first floor, and the man entered anyway. Without taking that into account, I recommend the hotel. Nice food and breakfast, spacious room, and very good location.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the rooms are beautifully designed by incorporating some cultural and typical nepali aspects into the design and furniture. The rooms were always very clean, tidy, the water hot enough for a nice shower, the jacuzzi in our junior suite was perfectly working and we even got some fruits, wine and cheese as welcome gift! The staff was always very friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious and the pool a real dream! Overall we can only recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for an expectional experience, a place to completely recover and relax. We also got an upgrade to an even more luxurious suite for free for our last night :) We'll be back!!!!

Dreamland Gold Resort is situated in the southern belt of the country 8 kilometers to the south from Butwal, a business hub in the western Nepal, and at arm's length from the Bhairahawa Airport which has several flights in a day from Kathmandu and is about a 30 minute fly from the capital. The location enjoys many sorts of means of transportation on land also. Located sequestered from the bustling urban centers, this is a getaway to an idyllic holiday experience. Away from the heat, smog and roaring traffic, your joy with a lot of personal space is overpowering and sheer dynamism of rural location is intoxicating.
NOT the Dream Land BUT the Mosquitoes Land.
Reviewed By Moti KThe room was full of mosquitoes, me and my wife had to stay awake all night trying to save our infant from mosquitoes. Asked them to switch the room but they said this is not an option. This is the place where I spent many nights in the past in the rooms & in the Casino. I thought I deserve their ‘sorry’ in the morning after explaining the experience all night but they still had their attitude. They didn’t even apologize for their mistakes. Staff over the front counter should be trained properly. I at least should have informed about the possible mosquitoes before picking that room for me & I’m sure they knew this situation.
