Dry Hill Ski Area

With a focus on family fun, this winter recreation area offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.

My son and I brought his two children tubing who are 6 and 4. We thought that they would be scared but they absolutely loved it! The amusing thing was that my son and I each went down once and decided not to do it again. I am almost 60. He was getting ready to leave for a training and was worried he might get hurt. You go fast!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. One helpful hint if you as the parent doesn't want to go tubing is to have one adult at the top and one adult on the bottom to help the kids get on and off. They are towed up the hill on their tubes which they thought was the coolest thing.

Loved our return visit. We stumbled upon the Cider Mill a few years ago and enjoyed it so much we took a special trip just to see it again. Cider, baked goods and fudge are delicious and fresh. A cider slushy is must try.

When we arrived here, I thought it was a small mall. I was wrong! It is humongous and has many of the stores like JC Penney, Sears, Best Buy, Famous Footwear, The Bon Ton and much more. I liked the natural light coming from the windows in the ceiling. The floor was marble I think and it was attractive. They have a large food court and a lounge for people who don't want to shop, instead they wait for their loved ones to finish their shopping. Nearby is a huge mechanical machine with balls that fall up and down, to help the time go by faster! I was quite amazed by this mall. It's the only large mall in the Thousand Islands in the States. It's worthwhile to come here if you need some shopping.
