This is a rather small church, but the interior is considered one of the most beautiful on the island. We were not disappointed when we visited the church as last on our day-long trip along the church just north of Castro. The exterior is rather typical, with a central tower and wooden facade which is not painted or decorated. However, the interior is completely painted. There is a main altar and a few side altars forming a harmonious unity. Here one can go up to where the organ is, to have a different view of the interior.
