Plenty activities to keep teenagers busy not bored! We stayed in Calm et Nature run by Bruno didn't know what to expect as it was our first time camping well we will return again it surpassed our expectations! Bruno couldn't be more helpful there were mountain bike available no extra charge, BBQ, sadly the restaurant had closed for the season but heard great reports from the other quests.

All advise was that I should not cycle over the road called Cretes du Verdon - too many cars and coaches and generally very dangerous. I did this on Aug 1st leaving Castellane at 08h30, back at 13h00 and encountered almost no traffic until midday. Other cyclists had done it on the previous Sunday in identical conditions - so sorry - rubbish advise. There are also loads of routes with green cycles on - the tourist office know nothing about these and could not advise on good road tours :(

What a great museum, dedicated to a marque of which I have owned eight. None of mine were old enough to qualify, most are from the Michelin era, with a couple of Traction Avant models which Andre himself drove to production (and some say drove him to an early grave). Well worth a very scenic drive out into the hills north of Nice.

Maintes fois détruit reconstruit c'est un passage fondamental de la région
son site à l'entrée de la ville et néanmoins au cœur d un canyon en fait un lieux exceptionnel à ne pas manquer

Ce musée privé recèle une collection d'objets de la seconde guerre mondiale dont certains sont unique en Europe.
Il s'agit de la collection de toute une vie d'un passionné, le conservateur.
C'est un musée sur la Résistance et les aléas de la guerre.
Vous n'y trouverez pas des tableaux de maître, des bandes dessinées ou des objets de collection des sixties !!!
Pensez aussi et surtout qu'il est y évoqué dans ce musée que des hommes et de femmes sont morts pour notre liberté...
Et si vous pouvez en parler sur TRIPADVISOR aujourd'hui c'est grâce à leur sacrifice...
