We were visiting family and hadn't gotten a chance to celebrate our anniversary, discovered an escape room on our last day in town- New Year day (holiday). I contacted the staff via email to confirm availability and they got back to me immediately and were happy to come in and set everything up for us even though they had no bookings for the day. We had a fantastic time! very grateful for the accommodating staff who took time from their holiday to help us celebrate! Great for small groups, couples, families, work team building... a fantastic way to spend a rainy day in town while you wait for laundry etc.

Lunenburg Ocean Adventures

We were a family of 11 and chose the private tour option. We had 7 adults and 4 children ages 6-11. From the minute we booked the customer service of was excellent. We were emailed everything we needed to know to be prepared for the day, covering gravol, warm clothing, food and water. Thankfully we had a cast over day with a little light rain which was perfect being our on the open water. Boat tour started in the harbour where we had a beautiful view of historic Lunenburg and Captain Bill gave us some history of the town, boats and buildings, while his daughter Emily drove the boat. Both were amazing at answering our questions and interacting with the kids. They let our 6 daughter be Captain for the afternoon and she was thrilled to sit in the Captain seat and call orders to stop the boat for Fishing. On the tour we saw some really neat caves, followed by our first fishing lesson. My 6 year old was thrilled to catch 4 fish in the first few minuets of dropping the line. We then moved to a few other locations where we caught more. My son age 11 was so excited to catch the biggest fish of the day. We had a mix of cod, mackerel, and other kinds of fish which were too small to keep. Some in the group who did not take gravol with the waves did feel sick. I would recommend everyone take it before you depart. Emily cleaned up the fish on our way back in, she was great answering the kids questions. We took the fish back and cooked it up based on their BBQ directions and the fish was delicious! This was a great experience for everyone. Thank you Captain Bill and Emily!
