Britannia Stadium

The home of Stoke City Football Club, formerly the Britannia Stadium

Reviewed By RickyButterwhistle - Belfast, United Kingdom

I've been to watch A LOT of football matches in my time, all over the place. And I've played in even more. As a fan, the atmosphere in 'The Britannia' is right up there with watching my own country winning at the euros, or singing 'You'll never walk alone' in Anfield- which is weird, because Stoke are renowned for being so anti-football. Recently, for a stag do, we got the opportunity to play on the pitch at the Bet365 arena, and it was the most amazing experience I could share with 20 odd friends. Full kit provided, named and numbered, referee and officials supplied, and a surprisingly good game of football after being around the stadium and using the changing rooms. All-in-all, completely unforgettable. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in any sport!

Our 1st time to an indoor skate park, with my son and pal, both 10. My son joined skate school (1hr lesson/1hr free time) and his pal had his scooter for 2hr. Good value. Skate school was brilliant. Venue is superb. Staff are helpful and friendly. Toilets and a tuck shop on-site. Parking close by too. Both my son and pal loved it and want to return asap. Which says it all. Local riders helped them both out which was lovely, offering word of encouragement and even coaching tips. Clearly the Skating community spirit showing through there. Really recommended for any level, it was mixed ability, with boarders, scooters and a couple of bike there too. Thanks for the welcome and support. See you again soon.
