Egge Gard

Egge Farm produces strawberries and apples. During the last years they have become famous for their ecological apple juice, ecological veal meat and apple liquor. Egge Farm welcomes groups from 20 August to 15 October. During this time the apples and berries are ripe and you will learn about the process of making juice. It is possible to buy juice and other products at the farm.

Frogner Kirke

Frogner had in early Middle Ages their parish church. It is first mentioned in a report of 1327, but is probably older than the year 1200 The church burned in 1651. Only in 1694 was the new church finished. It stands on the old church space, and is supposedly built on the ruins of the old church. Frogner kirke was expanded into a cruciform church. 3. Burial Mounds at Huseby

The two burial mounds at Huseby is from the late Iron Age and is Norway's largest burial mounds. They are about 5 feet high and measuring between 28-36 feet in diameter. The legend tells that Sanct Hallvard (d. ca 1043 AD.) is to be buried in the northern hill, after having been in one of the hills on Frydenlund.

4. Tranby kirke

It is likely that Tranby had its own church quite early after the introduction of Christianity. In the 13th this century is replaced by a stone church dedicated to St. Michael. The church is mentioned in records from 1347. Last service in this old church was held on 11 June 1854. The old stone church was torn down and replaced by a stone church with 400 seats.
