Multi-day cycling adventure Pristine landscape through three national parks Collect your bike and experience the Tour de Dovre that slopes 125 km into the pristine landscape of iconic mountains and idyllic old pastures. The cycling route over Dovrefjell makes it possible to visit three national parks by bike if you take the whole route; Rondane, Dovre and Dovrefjell. Have your luggage transported and cycle from lodge to lodge, or choose to hike between some of them. Tour de Dovre gives you the flexibility to make your own itinerary, best suited for your holiday adventure.

We use Icelandic horses which are reliable, steady and very well trained. Our trips accommodate both beginners and experienced riders, children and adults. Because of the relatively small size of the Icelandic horse, maximum weight for riders are 95 kg. The age limit for attending a riding trip is 12 years alone and 10 years with a parent. Before we start riding, we make sure that everyone is comfortable with their horse by grooming and saddling it. A short grooming and riding lesson will be given. During the trip we divide the riders into groups based on experience in riding. If you would like, you will get the opportunity to try both ambling gait (tolt), trot and canter. You can book a day trip or stay for several days, with accomodation in the hotel. We are the only place in the world that offers musk ox safari on horseback! This trip takes place every Saturday and is for people with some experience in riding.

Hiking with local guides in Dovrefjell to look for musk ox's. The tours are for everyone, 7- 15 km and lasts about 5 hours, depending on weather and group fitness. Warm/ Windproof clothing and good shoes are recommended, as we walk in the mountains. Bring a packed lunch and drink. The guide will bring a telescope. Daily attendance at Hjerkinnhus at 10am between June 20 and august 31. It is also passable to take a shuttle bus from Dombås to Hjerkinn. The bus cost 100 NOK.
